故事發生在未來，主人公被捲入購物中心爆炸後，在虛擬現實空間裡與其他9名男女一起醒來。
一位醫療AI女秘書告訴他們，由於醫療資源緊缺，無法幫助所有人。
因此，他們需要進行類似於人狼遊戲的「感染遊戲」，排名靠前的人將獲得生存機會，進行手術救治。
就這樣，10個人為了活下去，決定玩一場危及生命的遊戲。
